The company is developing specialised shipping software and information systems such as onlineSTS.net, Emission, myfleet360.net etc. DYNAMARINe has also experience in the development of policies which integrate the "due diligence" and "continuous improvement" concepts. There is particular experience in management of STS operations, from the ship vetting point of view.



Base, founders


The company is based in Greece and currently comprises of a staff of nine persons. Both directors, Alexandros Glykas and Stelios Perissakis, are Naval Architects and Marine Engineers. Alexandros holds a PhD in ship structures and Stelios holds a PhD in experimental marine hydrodynamics. Both have been engaged in the maritime industry and several research projects for more than 15 years.

The onlineSTS.net service is an innovative and globally unique service for the risk assessment in STS operations. It assists the tanker operators to perform their due diligence prior the commencement of the STS operations, thus it minimizes the enhanced risk and exposure for the Ship To Ship transfer operations. Furthermore, it provides solid proof that the tanker operators have exercise their due diligence at the best possible extent, fact that can be utilized in case of an arbitration.

Emission Monitoring

Emission monitoring System, is an online platform that provides tools to the technical operators in order to closely monitor and optimize the energy consumption of the ships. Emission monitoring is fully automated, it provides customized energy reports, energy analysis tools as well as inconsistency and error capturing for data that deviate more than anticipated from the norm. Furthermore, it offers automated notification for cases where overconsumption is observed.

myFleet360.net

Myfleet360.net is a platform that will host programs and applications related to the maritime industry. It is an open source platform that will assist the marine community by gathering all the important tools in one place.

Online training platform

The online training platform, is a dedicated system for training in the shipping industry. This platform offers all the tools required in order to allow users to follow training courses, give exams and also provide feedback. It also offers a very advanced administration section for managing users, making statistics, extract reports and provide automated certification to users.

Alexandros Glykas

Director

Alexandros is Naval Architect and Marine Engineer with a PhD on ship structures. He has expertise on incident investigation claims (MV DERBYSHIRE Formal Investigation), ship repair management, ship operations and consultancy as a technical assessor.

From 2001-2013 Alexandros was a lecturer at the University of the Aegean, Department of Shipping Trade and Transport. He retired on 2013 as an elected adjunct professor at Maritime Technology.

Since 2007 he has been involved with Ship-to-Ship due diligence issues from the perspective of cargo owners and since 2009 from the perspective of tanker operators.

Within DYNAMARINe, Alexandros has participated in the development of dedicated marine software, Ship-to-Ship policies, analysis and indexing of ship emission and inspection of vessels for valuation purposes as well as third party ship management.

Stelios Perissakis

Director

Stelios is Naval Architect and Marine Engineer with a PhD on Experimental Hydrodynamics. After graduation he is involved in several projects as independent consultant and surveyor and he also offers services in the sector of small craft design. Occasionally, he participates in several academic projects and tutoring in Technological Institute of Athens and National Technical University of Athens related with small craft design, measuring techniques and ships hydrodynamic.

Since 2007 he has been involved with Ship-to-Ship due diligence issues. He is experienced in building policies and procedures in shipping business, in risk assessment issues and in designing information systems in maritime projects.

George Papaioannou

Project Manager

George has a MEng in Electrical and Computer Sciences along with a MSc in Engineering Management. He has been involved in the STS due diligence services since 2012 and has participated in numerous projects related to the STS and also to the energy efficiency of ship operations. Since 2012 he is a member of the Global Association of Risk professionals and holder of the Energy Risk Professional certification.
